DOCOL TUBES
AED METAL PRODUCTS
After a four-year lapse in production by SSAB, AED Metal Products in Indianapolis, Indiana, now has Docol available in .120-inch-wall tubes for off-road trucks, buggies, rally cars, pulling tractors, and UTVs. Current offerings include: 1.50 x .120-in., 1.75 x .120-in., and 2.00 x .120-in.
Docol is an advanced high-strength steel tube designed to offer performance values better than aircraft-grade 4130 tube, with similar fabrication characteristics. Docol is widely accepted as an alternative to 4130, with global approval from SFI, FIA, and most sanctioning bodies. AED also stocks Strenx advanced high-strength steel sheets as a less expensive alternative to 4130 sheets and plates.
ONE ART AIR
OMP RACING
The OMP brand of Racing Force Group in Mooresville, North Carolina, has introduced the One Art Air, its most breathable racing suit, exceeding breathability by more than 10% of previous OMP top-of-the-range models. Two years of research, development, and tests were conducted on exclusive fabrics that provide a new level of performance in fireproof racewear. The One Art Air suit, homologated to the FIA 8856-2018 safety standard, is based on a layered construction designed to maintain the driver's body temperature inside the cockpit. This supports the driver's performance even in the most demanding racing conditions.
The new TxArt outer fabric features a proprietary solution that integrates the Art sublimation technology, which offers bright colors and creative freedom for custom products. The external layer is paired with the inner Air materials for enhanced breathability, reduced weight, and improved comfort. Air technology is also designed into the other top-tier models in OMP's 2026 range—One-S Air and One Evo Air. Both utilize a standard outer layer with dedicated characteristics to meet the diverse needs of drivers.
"The OMP brand's history has always been defined by its ability to innovate and push the limits of safety and performance," said Paolo Delprato of Racing Force Group. "In keeping with this philosophy, the One Art Air is poised to be a game-changer for the industry. Our accomplishment is even more significant because it has been achieved with a sublimation-printed suit, a technology that we first introduced in motorsport in 2016, and which now, thanks to the Air concept and the TxArt outer fabric, is positioned at the absolute top of the range."
OMP's Morco Lazzari added, "The performance gains obtained with the One Art Air suit are the outcome of a process that began two years ago, when we took full control of our fabric development, developing exclusive materials tailored to our goals. The Air technology was approved after testing hundreds of fabric combinations to blend breathability, lightness, and comfort with the strictest FIA safety standards. In the One Art Air suit, it has led to unprecedented results in racewear. The feedback we received from drivers in Formula 1, WRC, and other top-tier categories such as INDYCAR shows the strong foundation of this ambitious project."
